Hello friends!

We have heard you and these is our answer!
We are pleased to announce our second Fjällräven Discovery in Malaysia to Gunung Tahan! A lot of your have been asking casually through social media if Fjällräven is going to any of the G7 in West Malaysia. The answer is yes!

Fjällräven Discovery is a series of an event started by Fjällräven South-East-Asia. To inspire people to walk with nature. Here in South-East-Asia, we have created various types of events for different enjoyment with nature.

*Please be note that the star categories of each Fjallraven Discovery is not an indicator of it’s difficulty. We rank each Discovery event with the level of support that you will get and the organizing system throughout the event. From full supported event without any checkpoint system (1-star Discovery) to self-supported event with full checkpoint system (3-star Discovery)

Question & Answer.

  1. Do the organizer provide rations during the trek?

We will be practicing a full self-supported trek for Gunung Tahan. Hence, there’s no ration provided throughout the trek. You will have to prepare ration of your own’s need for a trek of 4 days 3 nights.

2. Is it a must to bring our own tent/hammock?

Everyone defines a good night sleep differently. We will provide fly sheet and groud sheet at every campsite which you can make yourself comfortable with. But  if you wish to have some privacy at nights, it will be best with your own tent/hammock.

3. I am a beginner to hiking, can I join this trip?

Nature is for everyone. We encourage this trip for intermediate hiker but if you comes with a strong determination, we will not stop you but support you throughout the trek with our best.
