The “Reconnecting with Nature: From Mountains to Landscapes” talk was both insightful and very lively earlier this month thanks to all of you outdoor enthusiasts and enthusiasts-to-be coming down to listen to the lovely speakers share about their experiences and tips. FjällrävenSEA apologises to anyone who did not have a seat but applaud you for keeping up the hiker spirit of perseverance and determination and stayed all the way through to the end. To you, we would love to extend our sincerest gratitudes!
Who could forget Jeremy Tong’s humble beginnings to his perilous journey up to the “death zone” of Mount Everest; how he nearly lost his fingers but knew his limits.
Also, do remember to heed Tieng Seng’s words of wisdom when going for your hike: “Fitness is key to any hike.” But also never underestimate the forces of a mountain. Always be ready for everything; stay hydrated; and make sure you listen to your body.
Irene also dropped some knowledge on us on the essentials of a hike. She’s already done so many and even completed one all on her own. Our word of advice? Don’t question. She definitely knows what she’s doing.
Finally, to anyone looking to continue or even start their adventures with us, Paul graciously shared with us an upcoming trek to Mount Bromo, Indonesia’s most hiked mountain, in 2018 by Fjällräven.

FjällrävenSEA would again like to extend a huge thanks to everyone that made this possible: Outside for partnering with FjällrävenSEA to bring you the talk, Terrainware for lending their space, the speakers for generously taking time out of their busy schedules to share some of their insights with us and finally, to everyone who came down for the talk!
